Mince Pie
1tablespoon of oil
1 onion,finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic,crushed
500g of mince
11/2 tablespoons of Edmonds plain baking flour (or other flour)
1/2 cup of beefstock
2 tablespoons of tomato puree
salt
black pepper
400g flaky or shortcrust pastry
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon water
