Hmmmm…..what a huge event marred by the attempted destruction of one of the world’s biggest superpowers…..America.What had happened that day reminds me of the Martin Luther King speech….
The one called I Have A Dream…..he had a dream that the world would be at peace and that the world would unite in love and peace.
Yet we are having to deal with an enemy who will stop at nothing to destroy that dream of everlasting harmonious existence for our world and for the people who live on it.
Yes, I remember that day extremely well.Who could not be affected by what was watched on the tv screens? I thought that some of the things that were written about in the Revelations chapter in the bible was about to come to life and World War Three would kick start with an almighty explosion.
The blood,destruction,the lives sacrificed and lost,the fire crew and police who did their duty and died in the name of duty to their people and their country…..that country called America.The collapse of the two buildings that everyone thought were indestructable and couldn’t be destroyed……crashing down,down,with bodies in their hundreds collapsing to their deaths……crowds suffocated with the dust and fumes coming from the pile of crushed rubble…..
Do we really need for that to happen in our lifetimes again? it happened in London,Madrid,Russia – how many times does it need to happen for people to wake up to the idea of peace?
Because next time it’ll be a maniac with his or her finger on a button for us to be totally destroyed forever.
