Slumdog Millionaire

Slumdog Millionaire 2008 – Plot summary This is the plot summary for the movie Slumdog Millionaire, which won around 8 Oscar awards. It is in the style of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? the game show where contestants have to give answers to complicated questions that the host poses to the contestant.

Everyone is astonished as to where he got the answers from.He is under suspicion and the authorities wonder how he knows so much coming from an impoverished background.I hope the child actors from Bombay India that took part in the movie got a decent pay cheque.Far from being curry-munching eaters,

This shows the human aspect of being an Indian.

Each facet of the young boys’ story reveals another layer and more information that led to coming up with possible responses to the questions.

It is about the story of Jamal Malik, a young boy from the slums of darkest India, where there is poverty and people living in the poorest conditions

He is about to win 20 million rupees and make it the biggest day of his life until the show has a small break – the police arrest the young boy on the accusation of cheating.

The question is, how could he know so much?

He tells the police his life story of his life in the slum where he grew up,having experienced conflict with vicious gangs. Each portion of Jamal’s

life reveals the answer to one of the game show’s questions. They reveal the answers to the show’s increasingly impossible answers. If he has no need for riches at all, what is he doing on a game show?

He is just one question away from winning the 20 million rupees and the whole of India is watching, totally fixed to their TV screens in wait for him to reveal the correct answer. So far, he has had an amazing round of good luck in getting the answers right.Even though he has no formal education and has been a thief for much of his life, the police interrogators are still perplexed as to how he could know so much and know the answers to the questions posed by the host.

His story reveals the answers to the ones to the quiz show and Jamal also has a love interest in his life.He is deeply in love with her and they were both in the slums of Mumbai and grew up together.

The film shows how trapped many are and can’t seem to get out of being impoverished. It seems that Jamal is the luckiest boy to manage to improve his living standards and to make a break from the impoverishment and living standards.

India has a graciousness and a human survival instinct despite their living conditions.I heard of a story involving a someones daughter and her father was going to sell her to people for $500000 dollars. This sort of human slavery should not exist in India, let alone anywhere else in the world.

He got caught by the authorities and it made headlines around the world just because she was one of the actors in Slumdog Millonaire.Go see it.
