Should I Start A Blog Or Website First?

Should I start a blog or website first? I believe this is a common question many newbies ask nowadays.To answer this question, you must first ask yourself what is your objective?Are you trying to:- sell your own product?- make money as an affiliate?- make money from advertising such as Adsense?- Or you simply want to share your knowledge with the world and make some money in the process?Sell your own product….If you are trying to sell your own product, the answer is obvious. You should first have your product website.You should focus your initial effort in getting traffic from joint venture and advertising, and building a list. You should not waste your time blogging to thin air assuming you are totally new and has no traffic sources.BUT as soon as you have a substantial list, say 1000 subscribers, you can start blogging, with 2 intentions in mind: 1 to build relationship and sales, and 2 to build search engine traffic “for the future”.Make money as an affiliate….With so many ways to make money as an affiliate, it’s impossible for me to cover the details here. But whichever way you use, starting with a blog is definitely not the fast way and certainly not the way I would recommend.You can start with a presell website, advertise to get targeted traffic and sales. Or you can start with a squeeze page to build a targeted list.

If you’re a programmer, you can skip the blog phase , but if you just want a internet page without any programming knowledge , simply make a wordpress blog.

If you want to get high traffic/money from one internet page,it should be hard-programmed with an unique idea . On blogs you’ll have some readers and comments , but you won’t get so many visitors/money.
That’s my opinion.

I recently Started a new Blog but my Problem is that I am not sure which Topic I want to Write about in it. I have another Blog about bloggingBut this becomes hard to write everyday so I want to make this an none niche blog.I think also if you have a blog you need a website sometimes to impress twitter Traffic.Because when people look at your Twitter Profilethey will bounce if they find your blog uninteresting which takes about is about one second as traffic from social networking pays no Attention to your Blog search and they won’t digg through you Archives. So I think If you have a Website write a blog and Vice Versa.The website is the Easiest one to start with if you know what your content will be as for a blog it will only delope with time.

Longevity is the most important part of SEO, so you’re going to want to get a dummy website up right away. After that I would go with the blog because you can get useful content into it relatively quickly. The site itself will probably take more time to get up and running, but the blog will suffice while you’re busy building and optimizing.

If you are passionate, informed, and have something genuine to contribute on a subject then by all means blog about it. Think about what you love to talk about, or what gets you going, or even what makes you mad and channel that energy.

A blog is dynamic. A site is static. At least, this is the perception of the user. I was more comfortable blogging at the first because I felt it didn’t have to perfect; the blog was always a work in progress and that was understood. I still struggle with applying this same mindset to sites I build because I want them to be flawless in content and presentation. I’m working on getting out of trying to perfect things before I launch to where I can just build, launch, then test, tweak, etc. Analysis paralysis can be a killer!

That is right. It would be a practical idea if you started a blog first, know all its features and widgets, at least this way you will get your self familiarized first without having to pay all those expense when running an actual site. Penny Stocks
